THE ACADEMY
The Discovery 664 Academy is an educational platform created by the Endow America Network Foundation, a national community foundation 501(c)(3) raising awareness of tax-advantaged solutions that enable individuals and the charities they support to establish long-term financial stability and sustainability.
The organization is dedicated to making IRC Section 664 and the Theory of Social Secharity as well known and understood as other widely used tax strategies, such as 401(k) and 529 plans
Through Discovery 664 Academy, the foundation delivers structured, self-paced online learning — including the 664 Ambassador Course and its advanced program, the Endowment Engineer Course, that equips participants with actionable knowledge, skills, and credentials to become leaders in strategic philanthropy.
Unlike traditional financial education that focuses solely on asset accumulation,Discovery 664 Academy teaches how to protect wealth, grow it strategically, minimize tax burdens, and build enduring endowments that benefit both families and the causes they care about. Our mission is to provide financial education that motivates individuals, advisors, and charitable organizations to unlock powerful financial tools. What sets Discovery 664 Academy apart is its focus on:
- significantly increasing income
- reducing taxes
- creating enduring legacies for donors and charities
… all through philanthropy-driven wealth management.
THE 664 AMBASSADOR COURSE
The 664 Ambassador Course, is designed to serve as a gateway for learners seeking to become financially intelligent, confident, and secure — in both their daily financial decisions and long-term planning.
Whether learners are focused on personal financial management or expanding their professional curriculum, the course is structured to provide a systematic understanding of how financial principles, tax law, and charitable strategies intersect to support both income generation and wealth preservation.
The program includes 34 self-paced chapters, each crafted to simplify complex concepts and present them in actionable, real-world terms. Students explore how tax law can be applied proactively to support financial goals — using strategies that are unfamiliar to most individuals and even many professionals..
The curriculum also introduces the Theory of Social Secharity, a forward-thinking approach to wealth management developed by Professor Les Winston. This approach reframes charitable planning as a structured, strategic component of long-term financial planning.
Students learn to incorporate the principles of Social Secharity into their financial strategies to align tax efficiency, income generation, and legacy creation through structured charitable planning.
Students can move through the lessons in any order they prefer, and upon successful completion of all 34 chapters and their accompanying quizzes, they earn the official 664 Ambassador Program Conclusion Certificate — a professional credential that can be printed or added to a LinkedIn profile to reflect a demonstrated commitment to advanced financial learning and strategic planning.
This certificate also qualifies students for the Endowment Engineer Course, the next level of specialized training in charitable tax planning, wealth preservation, and endowment-based financial strategies. Graduates of the program join a growing community of individuals and professionals who understand how to use tools available in the U.S. tax code — and beyond — to create lasting value, protect assets, and contribute to long-term financial sustainability.
